Narrow - Band Imaging of Bipolar Planetary Nebulae
We present near-IR narrow-band continuum-subtracted images in the H2 2:122 m, and Br 2:166 m emission lines for a sample of 15 bipolar planetary nebulae. H2 emission was definitely detected for most of the objects in this sample (13 out of 15). The very high H2 detection rate supports the idea that bipolar planetary nebulae have important reservoirs of molecular material and offer suitable phys...
متن کاملNarrow band imaging cholangioscopy in hilar cholangiocarcinoma.
Per oral cholangioscopy has been developed as a diagnostic modality for evaluation of bile duct lesions. Per oral cholangioscope with narrow band imaging (NBI) system can provide good quality images of bile duct lesions. There is limited data on per oral cholangioscopy using NBI in biliary tract diseases. We report our experience of NBI cholangioscopy in hilar strictures.
متن کاملNarrow‐band imaging thoracoscopy in pleural amyloidosis
We report the case of a 68-year-old male non-smoker suffering from shortness of breath for 1 year. He was referred to our institution for a definitive diagnosis. Both chest X-ray and computed tomography scans showed bilateral hydrothorax with no pleural thickening. We performed flexi-rigid thoracoscopic pleural biopsy on the right side with a single port under local anaesthesia. Multiple white ...
متن کاملNarrow band imaging for bladder cancer
Narrow band imaging (NBI) is a newly developed technology aiming to provide additional endoscopic information for patients with bladder cancer. This review focuses on the diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcome using NBI cystoscopy for the treatment of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. Current results showed improved sensitivity of NBI cystoscopy compared to conventional white light cystosc...
متن کاملMicrowave imaging of time-varying radar targets
The study deals with the introduction of coherent imaging ideas in the kinetic analysis of systems. It is developed in the radar context and is devoted to the description of general targets exhibiting motion, scintillation and dispersivity. This description is based on a physical model of small independent reflectors which can be moving and non-permanent. The resulting representations are gener...
